Retail Sales and Nominal GDP

At the end of last week when the strong retail sales figures came out, I put together this graph comparing the growth in retail sales to the growth in nominal GDP. I didn't end up doing anything with it, but thought I'd post it in case someone has a use for the information it provides. These are quarterly data through 2006:Q2:
