The Fallacy of Bite-Sized Composition

It wasn't completely clear which whether the Halloween candy was going to last until Halloween actually started, but I'm pleased to say that -- due to a very low number of Trick-or-Treaters this year -- there was enough candy to meet (external) demand. Barely.
