Why is Obama So Silent about the Jobs Bill?

Why hasn't Obama been raising hell about the failure of Congress to produce a jobs bill when he appears in public forums? The one bill that looked promising fell apart recently, and the attitude about it seems pretty ho-hum from all sides. Given the number of people who are still struggling to make ends meet in the face of the weakest job market in quite some time, you'd think there would be more urgency about doing something to help. Why isn't Obama making an issue of this?

[Update: I just realized I posted this in the wrong place -- I meant to put it on the other blog -- oh well.]
