The Great Decoupling of Income Growth for Middle-Class Households

Some people argue that the disconnect between economic growth and the growth of median or other measures of middle-class household income can be explained away by measurement errors. But Lane Kenworthy says no matter how you measure it, "Decoupling is real and sizable":
