The Five Scenarios Now Facing the Federal Reserve: Federal Reserve policymakers are likely enjoying this month about as much as market participants are.
Central bankers at the Fed don’t like fast-moving markets to begin with, and they especially won’t like the implication that their supposedly inconsequential 25-basis-point interest rate hike in December was a mistake.
